About
Duva’s professional journey began in 2015 as a Lead Guitarist in the island music scene, sharing the stage with today’s top artists, including Katchafire and Kapena. Since then, she has been developing her craft as a singer-songwriter and continues to perform actively, both as a sought-after solo artist and session musician.
Duva released her first self-produced cover, Give It Away, in Thanksgiving 2024, and her debut original single ‘Fever’ on August 31, 2025, marking exciting milestones in a career defined by momentum, creativity, and passion for music.

Duva has had music in her life from the start. She picked up the ukulele at six, inspired by island legends like Pure Heart, Ka’au Crater Boys, and Kapena. By ten, she was playing guitar with a love for ‘90s hip-hop, and later taught herself piano while spending time at her dad’s church in Las Vegas.
In November 2024, Duva dropped her first self-produced release—a cover of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Give It Away.” She followed that up with her first original single, “Fever,” on August 31, 2025. The track was featured on the Henry Kapono Foundation’s On the Rise Compilation CD and held a spot in the Lucky 7 on Hawaiian radio for six weeks straight.
